Baked Maple Brie





I made this yummy appetizer while my family was in town for the holidays, and it was a BIG hit!  Delicious, warm, salty and sweet, and may I add, SO darn easy.  You must make this for your next get together/dinner party - I promise you won't regret it.  I have a feeling this will be a staple recipe for me :)

Baked Maple Brie with Pecans and Cranberries

Ingredients:
Round wheel of Brie cheese (I used 2 triangles)

1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 dried cranberries


Place the brie in the center of a shallow baking dish or ceramic pie plate. In a small bowl, mix well the maple syrup and brown sugar. Spread the pecans and cranberries over and around the brie and finish off by drizzling the syrup/sugar mixture on top. Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes.

  7. OMG this looks sooooo gooood! I love cranberries and walnuts! oh and of course CHEESE of any kind! I bet I could eat a whole slice of this!!
