Happy 5 Months!

Happy 5 months, little one!  

I'm pretty sure I say this every time, but you are getting so big, so fast! 

Time is just zooming around here, and I can barely keep up!  

You are 13 lbs, 4 oz.

And 25.5 inches long.  

You have recently started reaching out for everything - your little eyes light up so much when there is something interesting in your field of view!  Whether it's a toy, Mommy's glass of water, a book, or even Daddy's hair!  And once you get a hold of that object, it immediately goes into your mouth :)

Speaking of....

We've got a toe-sucker!  

Daddy thinks it's kind of icky, but I think it's just the cutest thing ever.  And it's just a phase, right?  I think so :)

As far as sleep goes, you had a rough couple of weeks this month where there were some middle of the night wake-ups and feedings, but now you are back on track.  Sleeping about 8 hours in the bassinet.  Still swaddled, but breaking out sometimes!  You're getting strong!

We are still struggling a little with Eczema, and dry skin, but this little champ doesn't seem to be too bothered by it!!  

Toothless grins make the world a better place!

Clothes that are size 3-6 months fit the best, as your are getting longer, but staying nice and thin!  No chubby rolls here....yet!

You feel the safest in Mommy's arms, but you are beginning to smile at strangers, and
"talk" a little too.  Daddy's kisses on your belly are just the funniest....

he ALWAYS makes you giggle!  

And you are rolling!  You are the best at rolling from your back to your stomach - and you are just so proud of yourself when it happens :)

This month was quite an exciting one, as you had your 

first plane ride, trip to the beach, and dip in a pool!

It took a minute for you to warm up to the water, but you soon became a little fish, splashing around and kicking your feet!

Your smiles are just the best - you are just the happiest baby! 

When you get really excited, you bite your bottom lip, and make the cutest little face!

Your best friend is "Piper", the pirate pig :)

You take Piper everywhere, and you love to hug him tight!

We love you so very much and are absolutely honored and blessed to be your parents.  

God has given us so much joy and happiness by bringing you into our lives.  

We can't wait to see what the next month has in store for our growing, sweet boy!
