We are headed to Pickwick lake today to spend the weekend with lots of family, good food, hours spent on the lake, and of course, fireworks! I love this holiday and I have so many wonderful memories of 4th of July picnics, dressing up in red, white, and blue, and fireworks shows from our boat in Pensacola. I also remember making jello jigglers with star-shaped cookie cutters, and baking delicious cakes decorated like the American flag.It is a wonderful time to celebrate the independence and freedom of our country...and to enjoy the beautiful country that America is!
