Dear Sweet Baby Boy - you are so loved!  You especially have so many wonderful

"Aunties" that love you!  These women are like sisters to me, and they have been praying for you for a very long time!  And oh, how they spoil you!

My Nashville shower was absolutely amazing!!  My very best girlfriends from college and my dear sister-in-law truly outdid themselves - it was perfect.  From the beautiful decor, to the delicious food, the party favors, "wishes" for baby, and generous gifts - it was definitely a day I'll never forget!

Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

This is one of my absolute FAVORITE fall treats - and it simply could not be easier.  

Just 3 ingredients - and they are ready in less than 30 minutes :)

So stop what you're doing, run out and buy these ingredients (did I mention there were only three of them??), and make these scrumptious pumpkin spice chocolate chip muffins.  You can thank me later ;)

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients:

1 box Spice Cake mix

1 can 15 oz pure Pumpkin 

6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix cake mix and pumpkin together.  Add in chocolate chips.

Scoop into lined muffin tins.  (My mix made about 16 muffins)

Bake for 22-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean!

Maternity Pictures!

When John and I were home for my Florida baby shower, we decided to take our maternity pictures, and it was a day I'll never forget!   I've always day-dreamed of taking these photos, wondering where we'd be, how I'd look, if we would know the gender, and how excited we would be. 

And it was truly magical - better than any dream I could have imagined!

The lovely and talented Taylor Ford was our photographer, and one of my very best childhood friends, John Dye assisted with the pictures and makeup, making me feel and look beautiful :)

We took the pictures at the Gulf Coast National Seashore, just a few minutes from where I grew up, and it was such an amazing spot.  The lighting was amazing, and I loved the different elements of nature and beauty around us.  I woke up feeling amazing, and we had the BEST time taking these pictures.

There was a little hiccup though - as I stood in some of this tall grass barefoot, I felt a little burning on my feet, looked down, and it looked like I was wearing red boots.  Fire ants covered my feet, and I ended up having about 40 bites.  NOT fun, but definitely worth it ;)

...and last but not least, the love of my life!  He got his own little photo shoot!

Florida Baby Shower

Two weeks ago, John and I headed down home to Pensacola, Florida, for my second baby shower!

My two best childhood friends, and several of my mom's dearest friends went above and beyond.  

It was a dream!  

One of my favorite decorations was this hand-painted mobile of personalized little books for "Andrew"!  Thank you, thank you, Nancy!

Thank you so much for all the love, time, and work you all put into making this day so incredibly special!  What a humbling blessing it is to be showered with so much kindness and generosity!

The rest of the weekend was spent at the beach, celebrating John's birthday, taking maternity pics, and having brunch at my favorite restaurant with my fam.  It was such an incredible trip!
