Fashion Friday - Florals

A big trend right now is florals. Whether it's a blousy top, an A-line skirt, a fitted dress, a playful romper, or a summery scarf, florals have made a major comeback. I've even seen several "Kelly Kapowkski" look-a-like dresses.

Here are some of my favorite flowery items:
(In order - Patterson J. Kincaid, Asos, Asos, DVF, Modcloth, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Myne, Scrapbook, J. Crew, Free People, Asos, Stein and Blye.)

Are you on board with the floral trend??

Memorial Day Weekend

Warning: Picture Overload

I spent the most amazing weekend at home (Pensacola) for Memorial Day Weekend. It was full of precious time with the family, delicious meals and treats, bonding time w/ my bestie, soaking up rays at the beach, a beautiful church service, visiting an old friend, and just enjoying being home. Some pics from the weekend:

First stop after my flight landed: J's Bakery

Wonderful meal at home w/ fam and Ashy!

Such a wonderful weekend -- already miss everyone!!

Hair Dilemma

Since I was never allowed to dye or highlight my hair growing up, (not even Sun-In) I became a hair-color rebel as soon as I went to college. I guess it was better to rebel with hair color then other things. Anyway, I went from brown to blonde, to a reddish-brown, to light brown, to very dark brown, to major highlights, and then back again....twice.

Now I'm back to light brown - my completely natural hair color. And it's mousy. And brassy. And I'm in dire need of a change. I'm thinking golden highlights and maybe a few low lights...much like this beauty. I want it to look natural but have a nice summery glow.

Does anyone else like to change their hair color as much as I do? :)

Charice :)

I first saw Charice Pempengco, the 18 year old girl from the Phillipines with the incredible voice on Oprah, and fell in love!!! She is adorable and the tone of her voice is unbelievable. She apparently had a very rough and challenging childhood, and became known from random YouTube videos posted within the past several years. Well, she now has a brand new album out, and I have to admit, I really like it! It's kind of mix between Jordin Sparks and Leona Lewis, with a dash of Jo Jo :) But really, her voice is phenomenal. Check her out! My favorite tracks on her cd are Pyramid and In This Song.

This is a link to her performing "I Will Always Love You" on Ellen :)
