Guest Post - Long Distance Loving

Hi friends! I'm {av}--the blogger behind {long distance loving} :) I am beyond excited to be answering a few questions for the pretty Miss Emily while she's exploring her future home! I had the pleasure of meeting her this past fall and am so so happy she'll be moving just over three hours away this summer! YAY!

what are your top 2 favorite cities you have traveled to (and why)? Though it may be cliché, Paris is at the top of my list. It may be because it is the European city I have most frequented—or because we honeymooned there--but there is something downright magical about it. {cv} and I hope to one day spend a month there, just to really experience it. My second destination would be Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It isn't technically a "city" per se, but it is a small slice of {preppy} heaven in New England. Since we moved to this corner of the world, it has become a fabulous little escape--with best friends, great food, and lots of R&R.

what 2 cities are next on your bucket list to travel to? Without a doubt: Santorini, Greece and Phuket, Thailand.

what simple thing makes you the happiest? A completed to-do list. Is that weird? Maybe it is really a completed to-do list, paired with a glass of pinor noir and {cv}…but that sounds a bit more complicated ;)

what are a few of your guilty pleasures? Teenybopper TV. Yep, I am a Pretty Little Liars addict. I also love British wedding magazines and peanut butter by the spoonful.

is there a celeb that you would love to trade closets with? Rachel Bilson for the comfy chic. Olivia Palermo for the city glam.

bold lips or nude gloss? Nude gloss. Simple and sweet.

favorite movie of all time? You’ve Got Mail.

you're invited to a last minute pot-luck...what's your go-to dish? Root beer pulled pork! Simplest dish of all time: Cut a pork tenderloin into six pieces. Place in a slow cooker. Pour a can of root beer over the top. Wait four or six hours. Shred. Add BBQ sauce as needed. It’s a crowd pleaser!

what's one item that you can't leave home without? Sadly, my iPhone. I wish I wasn’t so dependent on it, but…

name 3 key pieces that every girl should have in their closet. One pair of jeans that make you feel like a million bucks. One little black dress that does the same. One pair of nude heels which pair with almost anything and give you a little spring to your step!

Thanks again for having me, Emily! Can't wait to hear all about your east coast adventure! Much love! xoxo {av}
