Ready for some cuteness?

Yesterday, my 2 friends and I set out to rural North Carolina for quite an adventure!  Meredith had heard about a goat/cheese farm about 40 minutes away that had recently had multiple litters of goat babies, and there were over 100 that needed to be bottle fed multiple times a day.  Since there were so many of them,  they needed extra helping hands.

We were in!

We got to the farm around 8am and were greeted by the most precious little goat babies ("kids") and we immediately fell in love.  And you will too, just look at these pictures!

My little friends!
Me with my snuggle buddy, "Empress"

Me feeding "Eggplant" -- all 104 of theml had "E" names!

Katie with "Egg"

Sweet little "Eggplant" :)

We were just volunteering, but we were able to go home with some DELICIOUS goat cheese, and  cheesecakes!  It was so much fun, and I can't wait to go back!!
(Let me know if you live in the Durham/Chapel Hill/Raleigh area, and are interested in volunteering too!)

XOXO
