Friday Five

1.  Back from the Beach!

We are back from our fabulous trip home to Florida!  It was the best week, can't wait to re-cap once I get all my pics uploaded!  For now, here are just a few....

the little ham
seafood galore
..and soaking up the Florida sun!

2. Current Skincare Faves

I've been trying a few new products for my skincare routine, and I thought I would share what I've been loving!

For Removing Makeup, and Moisturizing....

This is so good for your skin, and does a fabulous job at gently (but thoroughly) removing my makeup.  I also use it to moisturize my face, body, and lips!
Make sure to get the "pure and unrefined" for your skin!

For Cleansing and Exfoliating

I recently got the wipes from this brand, and I absolutely loved them!  So I picked up the cleansing scrub, and it is my new fave.  The exfoliating beads are very small and gentle, and they leave your skin feeling refreshed, brightened, and smooth.  If you like the citrusy smell of grapefruit, you will love this scrub!  Perfect for the morning for that boost of energy!

For a Deep Clean

I have loved the Philosophy brand for some time now, especially the Purity Face Wash.  So when I saw they came out with this 60 second (!!) face mask, I just had to try it!  It claims to transform dull, tired skin into a luminous, spa-like glow, leaving your face glowing, supple, and hydrated.  I love the fact that it is a quick, but effective mask, and I really do notice a big difference in the way my skin feels and looks!

3. Wardrobe Loves

I've been loving this neon tank, and wore it lots during my Florida vacay.  It's on sale now in 3 great colors online (I found the orange in our Factory store).

I've mentioned my love for Zella leggings before, but these babies are new from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I loooooooove them!  Quick, grab a pair before the sale ends!

'Live In' Reversible Capris

4. Chocolate Cake
I found this Easy Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake recipe on Pinterest recently, and had to give it a try for my Mom's birthday in Florida!  It did not disappoint!  *Well, I wish I had let the ganache set longer because it kind of just poured over (and off) the cake, but it was still tasty!*  And the cake is made with avocados (instead of oil)!  You cannot taste the avocado at all, but it is a great fat substitute, and left the cake very soft and moist.  Will definitely make this again!

5. Iced Coffee
Y'all, I'm obsessed!  Don't get that confused with addicted...because I'm definitely not a daily coffee drinker (yet...).
But this summer, I have been loving my iced coffees!!
My faves have been:

McDonald's Hazelnut Iced Coffee

Sarabeth's Iced Mocha Latte

and  Starbucks Vanilla Iced Coffee

The Pioneer Woman claims to have mastered the Perfect Iced Coffee, so I may have to give this a try!
I've actually never made my own!

Pioneer Woman's Iced Coffee: 1 pound Ground Coffee (good, Rich Roast) 8 quarts Cold Water...brewed overnight & strained in cheesecloth= coffee concentrate Half-and-half (healthy Splash Per Serving) Sweetened Condensed Milk (2-3 Tablespoons Per Serving) Note: Can Use Skim Milk, 2% Milk, Whole Milk, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners, Syrups...adapt To Your Liking!

Any Iced Coffee lovers out there?  Which one should I try next, or do you have a good recipe?

HAPPY WEEKEND!!
We're planning on resting, relaxing, and hanging out with friends before they move to North Carolina next week (sniff sniff!).   Maybe some pool time, and also trying out this Mojo Grilled Chicken recipe!

Back soon with our vacay recap!
(P.S. Have y'all seen this online shopping site?  Cuuuuute stuff!)
