Amalfi Coast, Italy

After our amazing adventure in Florence, up next was the highly recommended (thanks, Sarah!!) and highly anticipated Positano, Italy.
If you're not familiar with Positano, well, just drop all your plans and book a flight immediately :)

Positano is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places on Earth.  It is a small town perched on a cliff, located on the Amalfi Coast, with the most unbelievable views I've ever seen.  The water is bright turquoise, the skies go on forever, and the local food is impeccable.

From Florence, it is a bit tricky to get to, and takes about a 1/2 day, but oh my goodness - it is well worth it.  We stayed in Positano for 3 days, and it was pure bliss.  It was like a second honeymoon for us.  We did not want to leave.

If you ever get the chance to visit the Amalfi Coast, or nearby, you must say hello to the pristine pariadise that is Positano.

{highlights from our stay}

{on the crazy,winding, nauseating bus ride, leading up to Positano}

{coming up to Positano, and then finding "Holiday House Gilda" - our home away from home during our time there - it was incredible!!}

{views from the porch of our apartment - absolutely breathtaking}

{we ventured out into town for lunch, and wandered around the gorgeous streets and beaches}

{and spent the entire day - right here....perfection}

{for dinner, we picked up fresh seafood and groceries, a bottle of champagne,
and had a date night in!}

{day 2 - taking a boat ride around the Amalfi Coast!}

{the quaint town of Amalfi, Italy}

{night 2 - back in Positano, strolling down to the center of town for a fancy dinner}

{these purple flowers were absolutely amazing - so vibrant and bold}

Oh, Positano - thank you for the memories!
We hope to will see you again!  One day :)

Tell me - have you been on a dream vacation??  Or are you planning to take one??
 I'd love to hear!!
